House rules on fundmetoo.online, written so you can understand them clearly.
Use the platform honestly
- Campaign stories should describe a real project, cause, or need.
- Do not impersonate someone else or raise money under false pretenses.
- You must upload genuine proof of authenticity files. AI-generated imagery or videos are strictly prohibited and will lead to account suspension.
- You are responsible for the words and images you publish.
Platform Fees & Operating Deductions
To keep FundMeToo operating reliably, secure, and maintained for community fundraising, the platform charges a 10% platform fee on every donation and contribution. This fee covers server infrastructure, continuous software maintenance, customer support, and payment gateway integration overhead.
All funds and total monies made available or displayed to the receiving party (campaign beneficiaries and organizers) reflect the net amount after the 10% platform fee has been deducted.
Pledges, Deadlines, and Payments
FundMeToo allows sponsors and investors to either pay directly using mobile money (ElicatePay) or record pledge commitments. When recording a pledge commitment, sponsors and investors can designate a fulfillment deadline by which they plan to complete their donation. Pledges are tracked on their own dedicated progress line against the campaign's goal.
Beneficiaries and sponsors / investors
A beneficiary account can publish and edit its own campaigns. A sponsor / investor account can record pledges and make contributions. Either account can be signed out at any time.
Removal and Storage
Campaigns that mislead people or break the law can be removed. Images and media files uploaded to Cloudflare R2 can be deleted by beneficiaries directly from their campaign management screens.
